Hallo,
Ja, het is weer een tijdje geleden dat hier nog iets nieuws verscheen, maar zoals jullie ondertussen al weten was ik druk bezig aan een nieuwe layout voor de website. Daarnaast heb ik ook eens een upgrade gedaan van Wordpress en de verschillende Plugins die ik gebruikte.
Ik hoop dat deze nieuwe layout meevalt. De kans bestaat dat ik ergens een commentaar ben vergeten overzetten, maar ik hoop dat jullie genieten van de vernieuwde site. Ikzelf vind hem alvast iets mooier, en hij oogt ook iets professioneler 
Zou u graag ook een linkje naar uw website hebben vanaf deze pagina ? Aarzel dan niet en contacteer mij. Ik doe mijn best om het zo snel mogelijk in orde te brengen.

Ziet er goed uit. Wordpress vind ik zoiezo professioneler maar ik zie het niet zitten om alles over te zetten.
Het is eigenlijk vrij simpel te doen, en indien gewenst ook volledig gratis als je via Wordpress.com gaat. Deze site is natuurlijk volledig gehost op een eigen hosting account, maar je kan het ook laten hosten bij Wordpress zelf en dan is het volledig gratis.

I was just writing you a message through Facebook, and I received an email about your comment here. Glad you like the website, though the content is all in dutch right now. My target audience for this website was the Flemmish Hiking community, so that’s why everything is in Dutch.
But you never know, some day I might start posting a few things in English as well.
As far as setting up a Wordpress Blog, it is actually very easy to do. There are a lot of very good templates out there, and a lot of very nice plugins as well. The templates and plugins are easy to use and allow you (the author) to concentrate on the content instead of the desing / functionality of you blog. If you need help setting up your own blog, feel free to contact me. You never know I might be able to help you out

Well, you got it right
The old theme I used was based on the MystyLook theme which I then customised a bit. But meanwhile I added so many things to the site that I found it to be rather cluttered.
I now picked the Mandigo theme which offers quite a lot of customisation just by setting some options. It is very nice, and I didn’t need to customise it all that much.
